What ACT is and what it does
Allied Command Transformation is one of NATO's two strategic commands. Its headquarters is in Norfolk, Virginia, in the United States, and it is led by the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT).
ACT's mission is to prepare NATO for future challenges. It works on interoperability, new capabilities, education, training, warfare development and defence innovation, and it coordinates cooperation between industry, academia and member nations.
