What data we collect

We collect only the data required to operate the service: the user's email address and password hash, the company name, the selected interests (industry categories and notice types) and the alert settings. For paid subscriptions our payment provider processes the payment data; we do not store card numbers in our own systems.

In addition, technical usage data accumulates, such as login times and log data, which we use to ensure the operation and security of the service.

How we use the data

We use the data to deliver procurement notices according to your chosen criteria, to provide and develop the service, for billing, and for communication about the service. We do not use the data for automated profiling for marketing purposes, and we do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Legal basis for processing

Processing is based on the contract with the user for providing the service and on the controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the operation and security of the service.

Processors and retention

Data is processed on our behalf by the service providers we need to run the service, such as cloud infrastructure, database and payment providers. Some providers may be located outside the EU, in which case we ensure data protection with appropriate safeguards. We retain personal data for as long as the user's account is active and thereafter for the period required by law.

Rights of the data subject

Users have the right to access their data, request its rectification or erasure, object to or restrict processing, and receive their data in a portable format. Requests should be sent to info@salpa-ai.com. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will announce material changes in the service or by email.
